KATE BROGDEN
PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Kate graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting and spent the first three years of her career at PwC. While originally from Connecticut, she spent 15 years in the Washington, DC area post college and moved to Utah in 2023. While at PwC, Kate gained experience in a variety of industries including software, financial services, retail, and government contracting. She worked with both PE backed and publicly traded companies.
While Kate enjoyed PwC, she had other long-term aspirations. In the process of looking at other potential career opportunities, she was exposed to working with recruiters. She found that no one listened, no one guided her on her options, and no one seemed to care about wasting either her or her potential employers time. The recruiting industry felt like a job board with sales people attached. She saw a broken industry and set out to change it.
Kate’s passion for high performance, client service and entrepreneurship led her to start Evolve Partners in 2012. Her previous work at PwC has helped her develop a strong reputation for understanding both client and candidates needs, and helping them meet their goals as efficiently as possible.
Kate lives in Park City, UT with her husband and three daughters. In her free time, she is energized by mountain biking, skiing, playing golf, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

MEAGHAN SPILLER VICE PRESIDENT
Meaghan is a graduate of Lafayette College and originally from New York. She has worked in finance roles across a wide variety of companies in the DC market. Her experience is with investment management, media, hospitality and education technology sectors between public and private companies. Beyond building financial models, her favorite part of finance was working with business leaders to plan ahead and figure out what resources are needed for the next year and future growth plans.
Capitalizing on her strong business relationships skills, she transitioned to finance recruiting in 2018 and has really found her passion at Evolve Partners working with clients and job seekers. Meaghan has a family in DC and enjoys hiking, perfecting her homemade pizza recipe and exploring new coffee shops.
